The Basrah Journal for Agricultural sciences adopted the publication of some of the original articles which presented at the Fifth International Conference on Agricultural and Food Engineering, which was held at University of Putra, Malaysia.

Dr. Asaad Rahman Saeed, The editor-in-chief, said that 19 manuscripts were accepted for publication in a special issue.
