The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah organized a training course on Landscaping The course aimed at how to design gardens in residential neighborhoods and city parks, as well as a review of the most important elements of strengthening the garden The course, which was attended by the professor, Dr. Zainab Ahmed Ali and M. Dr.. Abdul Kadhem Nasser Saleh (course content) Upgrading the reality of gardens in Iraq to a better path through designing gardens and planting trees and shrubs appropriate to the atmosphere of the province of Basra Course recommended On how to preserve the gardens of the residential neighborhood and the per capita share of the area of that garden, where global statistics refer to special standards for design. The course also included a review of some international botanical gardens, such as the English, French, Japanese, Brazilian and Canadian gardens, which are considered national parks. The course also clarified the elements of strengthening in the design And how to reach international standards in its design
