The Department of Animal Production at the College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a workshop on auxiliary solutions to ensure scientific publication. The workshop aimed to introduce the correct and approved methods to reach a publishing process in solid magazines free of problems and obstacles, and to introduce publishing houses that contain magazines with an impact factor that are free to publish. The workshop, which was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Nima Habib, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Basra, included addressing the points to be followed when writing a research paper, as well as the correct methods used in selecting reputable scientific journals and avoiding predatory journals. The workshop recommended following the points touched by the lecturer, which included following the factors that helped to know the solid journals, as well as ways to reduce citation and introduce the programs and sites of abuse. The workshop also recommended paying attention to the sources and the instructions of each journal in terms of publishing.
