The College of Agriculture / University of Basra, in cooperation with the International Trade Center (ITC), held a training course for graduates within the Young Quality Champions (YQC) program, which is part of the Strengthening the Value Chains of Agriculture and Agri-Food in Iraq (SAAVI) project. The training course is managed by the trainer, Wasan Baher Hashem. The program aims to train Iraqi youth (students and graduates of the College of Agriculture) on quality management and raising the efficiency of the agricultural business sector, in line with Iraq’s aspirations to join the World Trade Organization.
