Within the ongoing scientific activities in the College of Agriculture, the College will host a visiting Lecturer Eric van Zandwijk from the Kingdom of the Netherlands to give a specialized scientific lecture entitled “farming approaches for sustainable agriculture in salt affected areas” in the Department of Soil Sciences and Water Resources for graduate students and teaching staff in the department on Sunday 7th November 2021 at ten o'clock in the morning, in the Soil Sciences and Water Resources Department hall. This lecture comes within the programs and activities of the Orange Knowledge Program (OKP), which the Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the University of Basra and the Government of the Netherlands earlier last year.
