The Dean of the College of Agriculture, Prof.  Sajid Saad Hassan, received the Director of the Livestock Department, Dr. Haider Adnan Hassan, and Mr. Shaker Abdul Razzaq Faris, the Director of the Fisheries Department and the Deputy Director of Basra Agriculture.
The meeting dealt with the most important common issues related to the College of Agriculture and the Basra Agriculture Directorate and ways to develop them and activate the mechanism of cooperation between the college and the directorate in a way that contributes to addressing the problems and challenges facing the agricultural sector in Basra Governorate and finding ways to introduce modern technologies that contribute to increasing production and reducing costs in a way that activates The agricultural sector and increases job opportunities for the unemployed in this sector.
