The College of Agriculture, University of Basra, held an introductory workshop on the mechanisms used in the College of Agriculture in its various departments through the meeting of the Dean, Prof. Dr. Sajid Saad Hassan Al-Nour, his administrative and scientific assistants and heads of departments with the students of the first stage The workshop included an explanatory and introductory lecture about the College of Agriculture and the role that the agricultural sector plays in the economic stability and sustainability of countries among the duties of its children, in addition to the importance of the various scientific departments in providing the labor market with agricultural expertise in various areas of the food basket. The workshop aims to introduce students to the value of the College of Agriculture from a scientific point of view and its pioneering role in supporting and promoting the agricultural sector and preparing its students to become builders of the future of the Iraqi economy The workshop recommended first-stage students to feel a sense of responsibility towards their scientific departments and to gain scientific and practical experience by being consistent in sharing different ideas with faculty professors and working on formulating ideas into realistic projects.
