A seminar on the Physical and chemical extraction of fish waste oil for application in common carp Cyprinus carpio L. juvenile feeds

 MSc Student Anwar W. Salih  pointed out that extraction from the viscera of the common carp Cyprinus carpio using two extraction methods; the physical (boiling wet extraction) and chemical (acid fermentation) and it used as an attractant  to increase feed palatability and replacing fish meal with soybean meal in the rate of 25%. The effect of fish oil addition led to an improvement individual growth, specific growth, food conversation rate and apparent digestibility, the seminar recommended the necessity of utilizing the different sources of fish viscera in the production of technical materials with wide applications such us oils and protein concentrates and use of fish oil at a rate of 2% as an attractive and nutritious material in fish dites.
