Prof. Dr. Sundus Abdul-Karim Muhammad, Assistant Professor Dr. Karim Hanoun Mohsen, Assistant Professor Dr. Rawafed Hadi Qassem, and teacher Dr. Muhannad Abdul-Hussein Abboud participated in a series of lectures within the course of the Agricultural Extension and Training Department / Agricultural Extension Center in Basra, which is tagged (breeding and managing the wheat crop for production seeds) during the period from Tuesday, 5/11/2022, until Wednesday, 5/12/2022 The lecture included the following topics: The importance of the wheat crop and its most important types. - Problems and obstacles facing wheat cultivation. Stages of wheat growth during the agricultural season. The correct and scientific methods for cultivating the wheat crop started from the processes of preparing the soil and passing through the processes of seeding, irrigation, control, fertilization and ending with the harvest. Instructions to be provided to store grain and reduce waste. The course aimed to introduce the reality of raising the wheat crop for the purpose of seed production, as well as the stages of achieving this and to know the different ways through which this crop can be managed in order to achieve economic efficiency.
