Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basra and the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Professor Dr. Sajid Saad Hassan, the respected Faculty of Agriculture held a ceremony honoring the winners of the annual Prize of the Faculty of Agriculture for Excellence in Agricultural Sciences, which was organized by the Faculty of Agriculture in its first edition on Sunday morning (12/6/2022), which is the first competition One of its kind at the Iraqi university level. The ceremony opened with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the national anthem. Then the ceremony began with the speech of the Dean of the College and the first supporter of this competition, who welcomed the honorable attendees, praising at the same time the committees based on the award and supervising this ceremony. Then prizes were distributed to the ten winners. At the end of this wonderful and distinguished ceremony, the attendees unanimously agreed to take a collective souvenir photo that would be an immortal archive and a history engraved in the memory of the college.
