The Agricultural Machinery Department at the College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah held a scientific trip for the fourth-stage students, within the subject of protective equipment, to the Plant Protection Division of the Directorate of Agriculture in Karmat Ali, accompanied by Dr. Majid Hazem Al-Haidari and Professor Ali Abdul Majeed. The teacher in the Agricultural Machinery Department, Mustafa Fadel Hussein, said that the aim of the trip was to see the protective equipment used in the field of insect control and plant protection, as the students were acquainted with the equipment and machines used in the field of insect pest control, as well as their ways of working and sustaining them.
