The University of Basrah launched the comprehensive virtual library, which links all college libraries with the central library of the university within one electronic platform.
And that the purpose of establishing the comprehensive virtual library system is for the university students and teachers to benefit from all available resources and books using their official university accounts within the electronic university management system UMS.
It is noteworthy that the electronic university management system UMS was launched two years ago with the Student Affairs Management System (SIS), and other new systems have been added to the virtual library of this system, noting that all these systems were designed by the university’s software cadres and under the direct supervision of the university president, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi.
