The College of Agriculture at Basra University held a ceremony honoring the Head of the Animal Production Department, Professor Dr. Amira Kazem Nasser, on the occasion of her retirement.

The honoring ceremony took place in the main meeting room of the Deanship of the College, in the presence of the Council members. The Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Raghdan Hashem Mohsen, delivered a speech of appreciation and gratitude to Professor Dr. Amira Kazem Nasser, where he praised her great contributions in her field of specialization in the Department of Animal Production and the field of education in the College. He stressed that she was a role model of work, dedication and academic excellence.

For her part, Professor Dr. Amira Kazem Nasser expressed her great happiness with this honor, and thanked the college council for this generous attention. She also expressed her pride in working in the college and in its contribution to qualifying students and developing the department.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, a certificate of appreciation and a souvenir gift were presented to Professor Dr. Amira Kazem Nasser, in appreciation of her remarkable efforts and distinguished contributions during her academic career, and the members of the Council wished her a happy future life full of success.
