The College of Agriculture participates in the University of Basra procession to serve the visitors of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, at the Shalamcheh crossing

Within the framework of the efforts made by the University of Basra to serve the visitors of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, during the blessed Arbaeen visit, the College of Agriculture participated in the University of Basra’s procession to receive the visitors of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, during the Arbaeen visit and provide services to the visitors coming from this crossing.

The university delegation was headed by the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem, the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Assistant Professor Dr. Raghdan Hashim Mohsen, in addition to a number of employees of the university and the College of Agriculture.

Visitors in the procession were provided with cold mineral water and various fruits, as part of the university’s efforts aimed at receiving and welcoming visitors during this honorable religious occasion. The university delegation also welcomed the visitors coming from the Shalamcheh crossing and wished them a successful visit as they headed to the shrine of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

This generous initiative comes from the College of Agriculture within the framework of its university role to serve the community and its responsibility towards serving visitors and participating in the success of this great religious occasion.
