College of Agriculture at the University of Basra witnessed the ceremony of receiving and handing over the position of Dean of the College, in the presence of the College Council and a number of faculty members.

The Dean, Professor Dr. Sarmad Ghazi Muhammad, and the College Council expressed their thanks and appreciation to the former Dean, Assistant Professor, Dr. Raghdan Hashim Mohsen, for his efforts and achievements during his assignment period.

The College Council congratulated Professor Dr. Sarmad Ghazi Muhammad on the occasion of his appointment to the position of Dean of the College, wishing him to continue the development process and enhance the college’s role in community service and scientific research.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the receipt and delivery document was signed, followed by the presentation of an honorary shield to the former dean in appreciation of his efforts and contributions, and everyone exchanged congratulations and wishes of success for the new administration.
