Participation of a lecturer from the University of Basra as a member of the doctoral discussion at the University of Baghdad

Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Nima Habib, a lecturer in the Department of Animal Production at the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra, participated in the discussion of the doctoral dissertation of graduate student Ali Abdul Mohsen Suleiman, from the Department of Animal Production at the College of Agriculture at the University of Baghdad. The dissertation was titled "Evaluation of the Use of Different Methods for Standardizing Oestrus in the Reproductive Efficiency of Awassi and Naeemi Ewes."

The dissertation evaluated the effectiveness of four different hormonal programs for standardizing oestrus in local ewes of the Awassi and Naeemi breeds, contributing to improved reproductive performance and increased economic returns for sheep farmers in semi-arid regions.

The researcher recommended the use of the stimulating program used in the research experiment to increase the reproductive efficiency of ewes.
