The College of Agriculture at the University of Basra participates in serving Arbaeen pilgrims.

The College of Agriculture at the University of Basra participated in the university's procession dedicated to serving pilgrims commemorating the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), as part of the university's annual activities to commemorate this great religious occasion.

The Dean of the College of Agriculture, Professor Dr. Sarmed Ghazi Muhammad Al-Shawi, and the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, Professor Dr. Sadiq Mohsen Jabbar, along with a number of department heads, professors, affiliates, and students, participated. Services provided to the honorable pilgrims to ease their journey included water and beverages, medical and guidance services, and contributions to organizing the procession and facilitating the movement of pilgrims, reflecting the spirit of teamwork and responsibility.

The Dean of the College emphasized that this participation reflects the college's unwavering commitment to serving the community and embodies the noble values upon which the people of Iraq were raised in their love and service to the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

Al-Shawi indicated that this event comes within the context of the college's ongoing efforts in volunteer activities, through which it seeks to promote a spirit of solidarity and mutual support on all religious and national occasions.
