
Professor Zainab Ahmed Ali, a lecturer in the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture at the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra, participated as chair of the committee discussing the master's thesis of researcher Ahmed Ihsan Mohammed, from the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture at the College of Agriculture at the University of Kufa. The thesis was titled "The Effect of Decomposed Palm Waste and Brassinolide on the Growth and Flowering Traits of Tecoma Plant."
The results of the study showed that palm waste at a concentration of 300 grams per pot produced the best results for vegetative, floral, and biochemical traits. Concentrations of 10 and 15 grams of brassinolide also produced the best results for most of the traits studied.
