
Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul-Kadhim Nasser Saleh, from the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra, participated in the discussion of the master's thesis of researcher Safaa Mohsen Ibrahim, from the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering, College of Agriculture, University of Karbala. The thesis was titled "The Effect of Treatment with Vermicompost, Mannitol, and Riboflavin on the Growth of Hyacinth Seedlings and Their Active Ingredient Content."
The study concluded that the use of biofertilizers, mannitol, and riboflavin led to a significant increase in most vegetative traits, oil components, and their active ingredient content.
The researcher recommended the use of the study factors due to their importance in improving plant growth and biochemical characteristics.
