Assistant Professor Dr. Abdulkadhim Nasser Saleh, from the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra, co-chaired a discussion committee for researcher Jaber Hamid Mutair, from the College of Agriculture and Marshlands at the University of Dhi Qar, regarding his thesis entitled "The Effect of Nanokytosan and Biofertilizers on the Growth, Medicinal Content, and Genetic Stability of Borage Plant."

The researcher concluded that the use of nano- and bio-fertilizers improved the vegetative and floral characteristics, oil components, and active ingredients. He also found that nano-fertilizers did not affect genetic stability.
