
Professor Muhannad Abdul-Hussein Abboud, a lecturer, delivered a scientific lecture entitled "Learning and Teaching for the First Unit," as part of the Teaching Methods Course for Agricultural and Veterinary Medicine majors, organized by the Continuing Education Center at the University of Basra.
The lecture included several important topics, including defining the concept of blended learning and the difference between it and traditional learning. It also reviewed the most prominent challenges facing the implementation of blended learning in the university environment. It also explained the curriculum of the Teaching Methods Course and modern teaching methods. It highlighted the criteria for selecting appropriate teaching methods and the conditions for their successful implementation. It also emphasized the adoption of brainstorming principles and defined the limits of the application of its theories in university education.
This lecture is part of the University of Basra's efforts to develop the competence of instructors and raise the level of teaching methods to keep pace with global developments in the academic field.
