A lecturer at the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra participates in the discussion of a master's thesis at Al-Muthanna University.

Assistant Professor Dr. Khawla Rashid Hassan, from the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra, participated in the discussion of a master's thesis by researcher Sarah Dalf Ghatheeth from the College of Agriculture at Al-Muthanna University, entitled "The Effect of Planting Dates and Levels of NPK Fertilizer on Growth Traits, Yield, and Economic Efficiency of White Sorghum."

The study found the highest yield and commercial profitability within a single season, making it a suitable option in the absence of a plan to grow a subsequent crop. The results also demonstrated the superiority of the August 13th planting date in some crop quality traits.
