The College of Agriculture at Basra University organized a seminar on "The Effect of Age on the Histological Structure of the Digestive System of the Eastern Silverside Fish in Khor Al-Zubeir, Southern Iraq."

The seminar, presented by researcher Zahraa Qassim Madlou, aimed to clarify the extent to which the fish adapt to their local environment, and to link the histological changes to the type of food and environmental conditions.

The seminar included a study of the relationship between the different age groups of the fish and the histological changes in their digestive system, in addition to analyzing the type of food they consume and monitoring some morphological characteristics related to growth, such as length and weight, as well as measuring some environmental factors in the Khor Al-Zubeir area.
