Professor Dr. Sarmad Ghazi Mohammed Al-Shawi, Dean of the College of Agriculture at Basra University, participated in the 39th meeting of the Deans' Committee of Iraqi Agricultural Colleges, held at the College of Agriculture, University of Kirkuk.  The meeting took place on the sidelines of the International Cooperative Conference on Modern Agricultural Technologies (ICCMAT), organized jointly by the Colleges of Agriculture at Kirkuk and Anbar Universities.

The agenda of the Deans' Committee meeting included several strategic topics, most notably an assessment of the academic and scientific status of agricultural colleges in Iraq, a review of reports from the committees responsible for the Bologna Process implementation, and the identification and approval of proposed curricula in line with the objectives of modernizing the higher education system.

The participation of the College of Agriculture at Basra University in this academic event reaffirms its leading position in the scientific community and its continuous commitment to contributing effectively to the development of the agricultural sector through research, teaching, and institutional collaboration.
