The Deputy Dean of the College of Agriculture at Basra University meets with undergraduate students to explain the importance of the Ministry's "HEPIC" application.

As part of the College of Agriculture's efforts at the University of Basra to enhance electronic communication and implement digital transformation within the university environment, the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sadiq Jabbar Mohsen, held a comprehensive meeting with undergraduate students to discuss the importance of using the "HEPIC" application, launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research as a central platform to foster interaction between students and faculty.

At the outset of the meeting, the Assistant Dean explained that the HEPIC application represents a significant advancement in organizing academic and administrative information, providing a smart, interactive environment that contributes to improving the quality of education and services offered to students. He noted that the application allows students to access their course schedules, grades, and academic activities, and to communicate directly with administrative and academic departments in a simple and secure manner.

He emphasized that the application is part of the Ministry's strategy for digital transformation and e-governance, contributing to reducing paperwork and streamlining procedures. He urged students to download the application and update their personal and academic information accurately to fully benefit from the available services.

The students raised a number of questions and inquiries regarding how to use the application and the possibility of developing some of its features.  The department heads, for their part, affirmed their readiness to provide technical support and guidance to students to ensure optimal use of the application.

In conclusion, the Assistant Dean stressed that the college is committed to keeping pace with technological advancements and providing an integrated digital learning environment. He encouraged everyone to engage positively with the ministry's initiatives, which are in the best interests of both students and the educational institution.
