Professor Salem Ajrabbandar, a lecturer at the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra, was selected as a scientific reviewer for the Journal of Biosystems Engineering.

Dr. Bandar stated that this journal publishes research in the fields of agricultural machinery engineering, renewable energy, food engineering, and agricultural processes, as well as modern technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and biosensors in the agricultural field.

It also covers emerging disciplines such as agricultural intelligence, nanotechnology, and big data analysis for the development of biological systems. It is published by Springer with an impact factor of 2.4 for the year 2024 and in the second quarter (Q2).
