
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basra organized a scientific visit for graduate/master's students to the Karmat Ali River. The students were accompanied by Professor Dr. Naeem Shand Hammadi and Assistant Professor Dr. Mujtaba Abdul Wahab Taher.
The scientific visit aimed to enhance the practical and applied aspects of the subject of primary productivity by applying methods and techniques for collecting water samples and conducting important field environmental measurements, which are considered a basic vital indicator of the primary productivity of the aquatic system.
This scientific visit is part of the department's plans to enhance the efficiency of graduate students and provide them with the research skills necessary to complete their theses and dissertations with high quality.
