The University of Basra organizes a discussion session on the impact of spraying with nano-fertilizers (NPK) and glycolic acid (GA3).

The College of Agriculture at the University of Basra organized a discussion session on the effect of spraying NPK nano-fertilizers and gibberellic acid (GA3) on some vegetative, fruit, and physiological traits, as well as fruit yield of Black Diyala fig trees.

The session included a study of the effect of nano-fertilizers and gibberellic acid on some vegetative, fruit, and physiological traits, as well as total yield. Nano-fertilizers recorded a positive effect on leaf area, total chlorophyll, fruit weight, and reduced fruit moisture content and fruit cracking. The study also demonstrated the importance of nano-fertilizers in increasing the efficiency of nutrient absorption, which positively impacts the total yield and reduces environmental pollution caused by the use of chemical fertilizers.
