The College of Agriculture at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the University's Psychological Counseling Center, organized an awareness seminar on the dangers of drug abuse, titled "Drugs and Their Impact on University Students." The seminar was attended by students from the college.

The seminar aimed to educate students about the harms of drugs, the psychological and health effects of drug use, and methods of prevention. It was presented by lecturer Noor Katea Abbas, who reviewed the definition of drugs, the effects of addiction on the individual and society, and the best ways to protect students.

This activity is part of the university's efforts to promote health and psychological awareness and maintain a safe university environment.
