Professor Dr. Abdullah Abdul Aziz Abdullah from the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra participated as head of the committee discussing the Master's thesis of researcher Hind Mohammed Abdul Hadi at the College of Agriculture and Marshes at the University of Dhi Qar. The thesis was titled "Response of Two Broccoli Varieties to Seaweed Extract and Dry Baker's Yeast on Growth and Yield."
The study aimed to evaluate the individual and combined effects of seaweed extract and baker's yeast on vegetative growth indicators and broccoli yield.
The results showed that two main treatments were superior in improving growth and yield characteristics: a concentration of 3 ml/L of seaweed extract and a concentration of 6 g/L of dry baker's yeast.
