In light of the mission and objectives of the Scientific Consulting Offices affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Commission of Educational Institutes, which stipulate providing expertise, consultations, and training courses to the local community, academic institutions, and students, as per Law No. 7 of 1997, and based on this, and within the framework of cooperation between the Agricultural Consulting Office at the College of Agriculture, University of Basra, and some international organizations operating in Basra,

the Agricultural Consulting Office, in cooperation with UNICEF, held a training course for fourth-year students in various departments of our college. The course, titled "Participatory Action-Based Research for Youth on Climate Change in Basra Governorate," focused on teaching and training students how to collect and analyze information related to climate change and its effects on the agricultural sector, as well as the possibility of developing future agricultural project plans that students can contribute to after graduation.
