The College of Agriculture at the University of Basra organized an awareness-raising seminar on "Al-Ain Foundation and its Role in the Care, Sponsorship, and Protection of Orphans."

The seminar aimed to highlight the pivotal humanitarian role played by Al-Ain Social Welfare Foundation in supporting orphans and ensuring a dignified life for them, as well as to promote a culture of social solidarity within the university community.

Mr. Samir Abdul-Ridha and Mr. Ahmed Karim Jari presented at the seminar, outlining the challenges facing orphans and the solutions the foundation employs to address them. They emphasized the importance of supporting national humanitarian organizations to ensure the continuity of their noble mission.

The seminar's significance lies in its contribution to building a culture of humanitarian responsibility within higher education institutions and encouraging fruitful cooperation between academia and organizations supporting orphans, thus contributing to the achievement of sustainable social development goals.
