The College of Agriculture at the University of Basra organized a scientific workshop entitled "Improving Milk and Meat Production Technology."

The workshop aimed to present the latest strategies for increasing production and economic efficiency in the dairy and meat sectors, as well as the obstacles facing these sectors, with a focus on innovative solutions to address local challenges in southern Iraq.

Lectures delivered by Dr. Adnan Jabbar Jadou, Dr. Israa Yaqoub Yousef, Dr. Muntha Yaqoub Yousef, and Instructor Iftikhar Hassan Mohsen covered the scientific foundations and modern methods in nutrition, management, and housing.

The workshop recommended the necessity of integrating modern technologies to combat heat stress and implementing food safety standards.
