University of Basra organizes an awareness seminar on the occasion of the celebration of the National Day of the Holy Quran (27 Rajab)

On the occasion of the National Day of the Holy Quran (the 27th of Rajab, the Day of the Prophet's Mission), the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra organized an awareness seminar entitled "The Quran: The Living Word of God: An Enduring Miracle and an Unfading Light."

The seminar, presented by Dr. Murtadha Jawad Awad Al-Mudawwah, a faculty member at the College of Education for Humanities, aimed to emphasize the importance of commemorating this blessed occasion and its profound significance in solidifying the status of the Holy Quran in the hearts of students and the educational community.

The seminar highlighted the pivotal role of the Holy Quran in building a balanced personality and strengthening the moral and behavioral values ​​derived from its noble teachings. It also emphasized the development of a spirit of religious and national belonging, noting that it encourages students to recite, reflect upon, and apply the teachings of the Holy Quran in their daily lives.

The organizers of the event emphasized that holding this gathering represents an important educational message contributing to the dissemination of Quranic culture within educational institutions and fostering a conscious school environment capable of intellectually and morally fortifying students, in line with educational objectives aimed at building a righteous and aware generation.

The symposium concluded with calls to strengthen intellectual and Quranic activities that contribute to developing the educational system and deepening students' understanding of the beauty and enduring miracle of the Quranic text.
