In a move that strengthens the international academic presence of Iraqi faculty, Dr. Zeina Tariq Naama, a lecturer at the College of Agriculture, University of Basra, has been selected as a Reviewing Editor within the prestigious Springer Nature Editorial Academy.

This selection follows Dr. Zeina's successful completion of an intensive training program organized by the Editorial Engagement Unit of Springer Nature International. The program included specialized tracks culminating in the awarding of official certificates, marking the beginning of her journey as a scientific reviewer, evaluating scientific manuscripts, and drafting review reports.

These specialized courses aim to equip researchers with rigorous scientific review tools and provide training on the highest international standards adopted by leading global academic journals. Dr. Zeina's joining this academic community is a recognition of her research competence and her ability to evaluate scientific output according to international quality standards.
