In an atmosphere of appreciation and pride, the Department of Agricultural Machinery and Equipment at the College of Agriculture, University of Basra, held a joyous ceremony honoring Professor Samir Khairi Lazem on the occasion of his retirement after a distinguished career of academic and professional contributions.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Professor Dr. Sarmad Ghazi Mohammed Al-Shawi, the Head of the Department of Agricultural Machinery and Equipment, Dr. Salem Ajjar Bandar, several department heads, and a number of faculty members and staff.
