University of Basra organizes a seminar on the effect of planting distances and varieties on the growth and productivity of mung bean crop.

The College of Agriculture at the University of Basra organized a seminar entitled "The Effect of Planting Distances and Varieties on the Growth and Productivity of Mung Beans."

The seminar, presented by researcher Shahd Mohammed Abdul Hussein, aimed to clarify the role of optimal planting distances in reducing plant competition, increasing yield, and improving growth indicators.

The study included an evaluation of the performance of genetic combinations suitable for local environmental conditions to ensure the highest possible productivity.
