The College of Agriculture at the University of Basra organized a seminar entitled "The Response of Oat Plants to Different Plant Densities in Growth and Yield."
The study, presented by researcher Suha Jawad Hassan, aimed to determine the effect of plant densities on oat growth and productivity.
The results showed that medium densities achieved the highest yield due to a balance between the number of plants and resource utilization efficiency. High densities led to increased competition and a decrease in yield components, while low densities reduced overall production.
The study recommended adopting the optimal density to improve growth and increase productivity.
