As part of volunteer activities aimed at fostering teamwork and a sense of belonging to the university community, faculty and staff of the Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Unit, led by the administrative and academic staff at the College of Agriculture, University of Basra, organized a volunteer campaign on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. The campaign focused on organizing the unit's laboratory and shaded area.

This initiative embodies the spirit of cooperation and responsibility demonstrated by the unit's members and aligns with the directives of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sarmad Ghazi Mohammed, which aim to support the academic work environment and enhance institutional performance.

The collaborative efforts contributed to improving the work and research environment, reflecting the unit's commitment to providing a suitable atmosphere for students and researchers.

The campaign yielded tangible results, presenting the laboratories and shaded area in their best possible condition. This enhances the quality of performance and underscores the importance of volunteer initiatives in establishing a culture of belonging and teamwork within the academic institution.
