The University of Basra organizes a scientific field visit to a cattle breeding station in Shatt al-Arab in Basra Governorate.

The Department of Animal Production at the College of Agriculture, University of Basra, organized a field trip for third- and fourth-year students to a leading cattle breeding station in the Shatt al-Arab district of Basra Governorate. The trip was supervised by a select group of the department's specialized faculty members.

The visit aimed to enhance students' practical skills and provide them with firsthand experience of the latest management and breeding methods, as well as the healthcare and nutrition programs implemented at the production stations.

This initiative is part of the department's efforts to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical application, preparing students to enter the job market with high competence.

At the end of the visit, the students praised the valuable information they received and expressed their gratitude to the station's management and the department for organizing such activities that enhance their scientific and practical skills.
