The marketing outlet for the products of the Agricultural Consulting Office was opened at the Karma Ali site at the University of Basra.

As part of its ongoing efforts to provide various agricultural services to the Basra community and Basra University staff, the Agricultural Consulting Office at the College of Agriculture, University of Basra, offers a diverse range of high-quality, fresh food and animal products.

On behalf of the Head of the Office, Professor Dr. Sarmad Ghazi Mohammed Al-Shawi, the Director of the Agricultural Consulting Office, Professor Dr. Mohsen Abdulhai Dashar, inaugurated the office's marketing outlet at the Garma Ali campus of Basra University.

Dr. Dashar stated that the outlet was opened to meet the needs of Basra residents and consumers, particularly university staff, for high-quality, nutritious plant and animal food products. These products, prepared and manufactured by the office under the supervision of specialized professors from the college, include beef, poultry, and eggs raised on the office's farms, as well as other products such as various vegetables, honey, and oil extracts produced on the college's farms. He noted that these products are available fresh throughout the day at competitive prices compared to similar products in local markets.
