The National Council for Accreditation of Agricultural Colleges extends its warmest congratulations to the President of the University of Basrah, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim Al-Asadi, and to the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Professor Dr. Sarmad Ghazi Muhammad Al-Shawi, and to the Head of the Department of Food Science, Dr. Sinan Jawda Abdul-Abbas, the Head of the Department of Field Crops, Dr. Khawla Rashid Hassan, the Head of the Department of Plant Protection, Dr. Muslim Ashour Abdul-Wahid, and the Head of the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering, Dr. Muhammad Abdul-Amir Hassan, on the occasion of the four departments achieving full program accreditation.

With this significant academic achievement, the College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah has completed the unconditional program accreditation for its Bachelor's degree programs across all eight of its academic departments, placing it at the forefront of Iraqi colleges whose efforts have culminated in a 100% comprehensive quality rating.

This outstanding scientific achievement is clear evidence of the exceptional and significant efforts exerted by the university president, the college dean, and the teaching and administrative staff, and their continuous and unwavering commitment to raising the academic level and achieving the highest standards of quality and academic accreditation, which ensure the soundness of educational outcomes to serve our beloved country and the labor market.
