The College of Agriculture at the University of Basra has achieved a scientific milestone with Professor Dr. Ammar Badran Ramadan, a faculty member in the Food Science Department, surpassing 10,000 research citations on the Google Scholar platform.

Dr. Al-Tamimi achieved high research indicators for the period 2019-2026, with a Hirsch index of 41 and an i10 text index of 97, as a result of his pioneering research in food safety, antioxidants, microbes, and thermal and non-thermal technologies.

The Dean of the College of Agriculture congratulated him on this achievement, as it reflects the high quality of Iraqi research and effectively contributes to raising the ranking of the college and the university in international databases.
