In recognition of his outstanding efforts and unwavering support for the academic and service-oriented mission, the Dean of the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra honored Mr. Ahmed Jassim Naeem Al-Asadi, Senior Chief Engineer and Director General of the General Company for Maritime Transport, with the Shield of Loyalty and Appreciation.

The shield was presented on behalf of the Dean by Dr. Wael Ali Sawadi, Administrative Assistant, during an official visit held to acknowledge Mr. Al-Asadi's pioneering role in strengthening cooperation between the College and government departments in the province.

The Dean's office emphasized that this honor is a tribute to his continuous support, which effectively contributes to the development of the College's educational and service environment, positively impacting the community and the agricultural sector in Basra Governorate. This embodies the University's motto of openness to all state institutions and achieving institutional integration.

Professor Al-Asadi expressed his great thanks and gratitude for this kind gesture from the Deanship of the College of Agriculture, stressing that the General Company for Maritime Transport will continue to provide mutual support and ensure the success of joint initiatives that serve the scientific and developmental progress in the governorate.
