Dr. Zain Al-Abidin Abdul-Hussein Hanzal, a lecturer in the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering at the College of Agriculture, University of Basra, has been promoted to the rank of Assistant Professor.

The rank was awarded after he fulfilled all the requirements for academic promotion stipulated in the Promotions Law. It is worth noting that Dr. Hanzal is a specialist in landscape engineering within the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering.
