Dr. Hassanein Mohammed Ghabash, a lecturer in the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering at the College of Agriculture, University of Basra, has been promoted to the rank of Assistant Professor.

The promotion was granted after he fulfilled all the requirements for academic advancement stipulated in the promotions law. Dr. Ghabash specializes in the ecology of horticultural plants within the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering.
