The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah has achieved a distinguished scientific accomplishment with the inclusion of Professor Dr. Ammar Badran Ramadan in the list of the top 2% of scientists worldwide for 2026, according to the ranking issued by Stanford University in collaboration with the international publishing house Elsevier.

This achievement reflects the growing scientific presence of the College of Agriculture in international academic forums and the significant scientific output and research contributions of its researchers in agricultural fields, thus enhancing the university's standing in global indicators and rankings.

On this occasion, the Dean of the College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah, Professor Dr. Sarmad Ghazi Mohammed Al-Shawi, extends his congratulations to Dr. Ammar, in appreciation of his research contributions and scientific efforts, wishing him continued success and further excellence in service of scientific research and the university's academic progress.
