The Dean of the College of Agriculture, Professor Dr. Sarmad Ghazi Mohammed Al-Shawi, in his capacity as Head of the Central Ceremonial Committee, participated in the field visit conducted by the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Aqeel Fadhil Al-Dahhan, to t

he Palm Trunk Stadium to review the preparations for the central graduation ceremony (the 59th Lions of Mesopotamia class).

During the visit, a coordination meeting was held in which Dr. Sarmad Ghazi presented the Ceremonial Committee's plans regarding the mechanisms for receiving official guests, organizing the main stage, and ensuring the smooth flow of VIPs in a manner befitting the university's stature.

The University President emphasized the necessity of utilizing all available resources to present the ceremony in a splendid manner that reflects the long-standing tradition of the University of Basra. The Ceremonial Committee and other committees expressed their complete readiness to ensure the success of this national academic event.
