Department of Animal Production at the College of Agriculture has achieved an important and eye-catching achievement, as it ranked first in the national classification of the departments of the faculties of  agriculture in Iraqi universities. On this occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Assistant Professor Dr. Raghadan Hashem Mohsen, was honored in recognition of his successful leadership and continuous efforts in developing  the departments of the college, and this honor comes as a meritory honor for the performance of the Department of Animal Production and its excellence in the field of scientific research and education.

The first rank achieved by the Department of Animal Production in the national classification of the departments of faculties of  agriculture in Iraqi universities is a strong indication of the excellence and quality enjoyed by the department and this classification is based on specific criteria such as the quality of the curriculum, the level of teaching and learning, scientific research, and the social and economic impact of the department.

This achievement also reflects the serious efforts and dedication of the faculty members and staff in the Department of Animal Production who are working hard to develop and update the curriculum in line with recent developments in the field of animal agriculture. They also seek to strengthen cooperation with the agricultural and industrial sector to provide training opportunities for students and exchange knowledge and experiences.

This honor for the Faculty of Agriculture reflects the recognition of the effective leadership provided by  the faculty professors and staff in developing and strengthening  the scientific departments in the college by moving towards academic excellence, developing educational programs that meet the needs of the market and enhancing the role of graduates in the  agricultural sector.
