The College of Agriculture at the University of Basra organized a seminar on "Pesticide Movement in the Environment."

The seminar, presented by Dr. Alaa Hassan Radhi, aimed to explore the behavior of pesticides, their environmental fate, and the mathematical models that describe their movement and fate.

The seminar included a detailed explanation of the most commonly used mathematical models for assessing the impact of the environment on pesticides and organic pollutants in general.

The seminar recommended the establishment of research teams dedicated to monitoring and tracking pollutants, as well as assessing the risks associated with low concentrations.
